Was this review helpful? Just a great purchase. This is my second iPad Mini and chose to get the iPad Mini 2 because it was priced right at Christmas. I use this device for almost everything, bu mostly business. The size is excellent and the retina screen is easy on the eyes for reading. I use this when I am on the road and it has almost replaced my laptop as a travel companion. I looked at other Android devices, but I chose the iPad Mini 2 because I could do everything that Apple had to offer, but also could run those applications that can be found on Android.

I use both Messages and Hangouts, plus my organization is Google Apps. There is nothing I cannot do on this device. Another reason for choosing this product is simply Apple Support. They are the best in the business and support for Android is literally non-existent.

Android can be cheaper and has some cool features, but Apple is consistent in performance and high quality design. I highly recommend this product. Perfect size, great price. I read quite a few tech reviews before purchasing my iPad mini 2 and learned that the mini 2 with retina display is far superior, visually, than the original mini, and I also learned that there wasn't a significant difference between the mini 2 and mini 3 to warrant the additional expense of the new mini 3.

I also learned from my readings that it would be best to upgrade from 16 gb to at least 32 gb because the 16 gb may be used up quickly with apps and photos, etc. I'm delighted with it. It's the perfect size - a little larger than a Kindle - and it's so easy to take anywhere.

Back then, if I made a promise, and then couldn't keep it, I would always sweeten the deal to correct my error. On my recent online purchase of an iPad mini from WalMart, I paid EXTRA for shipping so that I would receive it by a certain date. And then, it didn't arrive by that date.

I sent an email to WalMart customer care. I am pleased to say that they not only refunded my additional shipping but they also reduced the price of the iPad to compensate for my inconvenience. That is exactly what a local business does. Perhaps WalMart isn't the big uncaring business some people say! All I know is, my iPad mini is awesome and I am satisfied! I almost made the mistake of buying this item on Amazon. A friend told me about this at Walmart and I was able to get 32GB for the same price as 16GB elsewhere. Since it was a prize I was giving away, I was thrilled that I was able to get more storage for the same price I was finding elsewhere. So Far So Good! I had an Apple Air 2 and damaged it dropped it. I decided instead of paying the money for another Air 2, I would purchase the Mini.

So far, so good. It obviously doesn't have the amount of screen space as the Air 2, but I expected that and therefore was not disappointed. The only problem I've noticed is the touch screen is not always responsive in certain areas of the screen. It just seems that way.

But, I am quite satisfied with the size of the Mini. I can put it in my bag, purse, etc. As I said, so far so good! Perfection in a smaller size.

I purchased the iPad Mini with Retina display to primarily use for work, and love the smaller size that the mini offers. I have had a iPad 2 for a number of years and the whole family enjoys using it daily, but it's a little large to travel with on a daily basis. The iPad Mini with Retina has all the same features as the iPad Air, but has been convienetely placed in a smaller package.

It's very light weight, the retina display looks amazing, the photo quality makes taking pictures worth using, FaceTime is great for when I'm traveling and can still see the kids clearly, and the A7 processor with the improved wifi makes it much faster than my iPad 2. Apple nailed it with this one! I'm an attorney and the iPad Mini 2 is perfect for the office. It's as if I carry the office in my hand when I go to court. I can load all the files and documents I need on the iPad for the day.

With iCloud I can load all of my files. I now have a paperless office thanks to the iPad Mini1.

I love my iPad mini. Love to read the news on it and especially my books. This tablet does everything and I love that it is so light and compact, however has a very nice screen size with the most clear and precise picture with the new Retina capability.

I think it is worth the price! I also HIGHLY recommend Walmart's 2 year coverage plan. You cannot find a protection plan like their's anywhere else at that great price. It gives a nice piece of mind knowing that if anything happens, it has an additional warranty on it. Also, KUDO's to Walmart for shipping this out so fast.
